Shelfari: Book reviews on your book blog
Apparently our chosen destination is in the middle of nowhere. If you are not walking, drinking, sleeping or eating, then the chances are you are you will be reading. I have wanted to read an Ian Flemming Bond story for years, but never got round to it. Jonathon Coe’s ‘What a Carve Up’ is still one of favourite novels so fingers crossed that ‘The Closed Circle’ doesn’t disappoint. I read Antony Beevor’s ‘Stalingrad’ years ago, and its the sort of book you are only like to manage in the middle of nowhere without any distractions. Last up its Evelyn Waugh and about the only novel of his I haven’t got round to.
